Following Jesus is not something to do in isolation.  Living as a disciple of Jesus Christ is easier when we do life with others. Are you looking for a way to connect with others, to find encouragement and support during this season?  Check out some of the various opportunities available. Let us know if you need help in finding the right Life Group for you. With Christ at the center, we'll grow together, encourage and care for each other, share and serve together.

Finding I Am on Tuesdays @ 6:30-8:00 PM
Facilitator: Shelley Snyder
Group Begins February 23
Group is limited to 12 participants

What is the deep cry of your heart? That ache in your soul that keeps you up at night? The prayer you keep repeating? Jesus not only cares about this deep, spiritual wrestling, but He wants to step in and see you through it.

Come as we join author, Lysa TerKeurst on the streets of Israel to explore the seven I AM statements of Jesus - found in the Gospel of John. This six week women's study entitled, FINDING I AM will help us learn to:
• Trade feelings of emptiness and depletion for a more personal fulfillment from knowing who Jesus is.
• Stop living like a slave to our circumstances by training our heart to embrace the life-giving freedom God wants for us.
• Gain a better understanding of how Jesus' words 2,000 years ago are so very applicable to the answers we are searching for today

Join facilitator, Shelley Snyder on Tuesday evenings, beginning February 23 in the Aldersgate Midland Lounge @ 6:30-8:00.  Sign up today!  Call or email Shelley with any questions.  She can be reached at 989.631.3254 or you can click here to email Shelley.
Fellowship with God Life Group on Thursdays @ 7:00-8:30 PM
Facilitator: Addie Maxwell
Group begins February 25
Group is limited to 12 participants

Please join Addie Maxwell in-person on the Midland Campus for this 8-part DVD series featuring Dr. Tony Evans as we look at 1, 2, & 3 John.  As Christians, where and how have we grown comfortable and complacent in our faith? This study will challenge and encourage us to explore our own relationship with God. Tony walks us through these short letters written by the apostle John, to give us a picture of love, obedience, and truth. Through the Holy Spirit, God’s Word, and the teaching of Dr. Evans, we will see how we can strengthen our relationship with God, and keep it strong.  We will meet from 7:00 – 8:30 pm on Thursdays beginning February 25. Sign-up today. If you have questions call or email Addie @ 708-1758 or click here to email Addie.

Learning Scripture Meditation and Prayer on Thursdays @ 10:00 AM
Facilitator: Bryan Williams
Group begins on February 25

It’s been said that the best way to learn to pray is by praying.  That’s exactly what we are going to be doing together.  Join us for a time of learning together as we pray and meditate on Scripture.  We’ll see how meditating and savoring Scripture leads us to being attentive to God in prayer.  Each week we’ll use a small passage of Scripture as a basis for listening to God and then respond to Scripture by praying for our church and our world.  Our focus will be learning how to be quiet and still our hearts as we respond to God in prayer.

We’ll meet each Thursday at 10:00 AM.  If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to Bryan. You can click here to email him.
